4/22/08 to 5/27/08

We had an old barn on the property we were going to tear down to build a garage and work room for Jay until Tommy showed up. He wanted us to restore it and everything he said made good sense. So Monday April 15th we said, “When can you start?” It was then we thought it would make a great studio for me and Jay (husband) can take over my old studio I have out grown. We agreed this would be so right! The project began.

Mike & Tommy Leroy oversaw the project. Mike and Tommy did all the hard stuff.
The old barn was rough but Tommy had a vision
I watched as it got more and more like a studio.
The upstairs door, now window, had termites. We so wanted to keep the origional door so Tommy had this great idea to cook'm out. The door was so dry it took about five mins. and it was on fire! I yelled, "The door is on fire!" and the guys came running to rescue it. It was chaos for a few mins. and we found the door had a very nice look burnt. So, I popped the stained glass pieces I made in and it looked great!
