This painting is called The Journey.

In the days when my boys were young and I was a professional photographer, we would go exploring. We looked for interesting places no one knew about. I would take art shots as they discovered. I painted this from a photo a couple of years ago. I am fond of this one. It makes me feel as though being a mom was the most important thing I ever did.

Three Sisters

I painted this one in a college studio. When God was calling me back to painting I didn't have any studio space in our home. So, I took some classes at the local college and found it rich with creative life and a great deal of open, young energy. I loved it so much I took almost every class they offered in painting. This one is hanging in the bedroom. It dictates the room colors.
